Here's a vid of an online match I played this evening. I was down by one starting the 3rd period, forechecking 1-2-2 high, with staggered pressure and aggressive attack. I managed to get two early goals, but kept playing aggressive since I felt it helped me controll the match. It worked out pretty well. I lost my positions two times, luckily my opponent didn't score on me. I've made some comments in the clip. Feel free to post your opinions, if you think I should've played differently, or questions if you have any.

What are those green circles that show up on the ice during this video?
With the "hold LT and push up on the R-Stick" rebound thing ... do I need to HOLD the R-Stick in the up position or do I need to keep flicking the R-Stick up repeatedly?
Also - Do I need to hit RT to select the player in the rebound position? Or should I only do the "vision control + shot" thing?
One more - do I need to aim the rebound shots? Or should I get off the L-Stick (since I am not aiming or moving a skater)?
Thanks!
* The green circles indicates that a created play is about to be triggered.
* I hold the RS in the up position.
* You don't have to select the player. Just position the selected player infront of the net and do the vision+shoot-thing. If another player get the puck he will shot directly also since he'll automatically be selected.
* If you manage to aim that's good. I find positioning myslef in the right pos, holding VC and RS to be quite enough to handle. The prime target is to take a quick shot.
Thanks - I have been jamming the R-Stick for rebound goals - I guess that was not the correct way to do it. Move it to UP and hold it there while also holding the VisionControl button. Got it.
Thanks for posting this, it is really useful to see the way in which you approach games on the whole.
That's a good tip about holding the RS up, I used to be repeatedly flicking it too, which wasn't too successful. Since I have been holding the RS up, my rebound goals have increased dramatically.
It would be very interesting to see someone elses vid of a period to compare. If you got a video let me know - I can post it here.
dude you have buttons on your joystick to change the offensize pressure..at least there is on xbox 360
Yup, I know. It was my opponent who called the break but I felt it was a good time to make a change.
is there anyway you could post more videos? it really helps me to see how other people play. I wish that I could save online videos so that when I get killed I could see how the other kid did it but of course I can't do that.
I'll do that but right now I'm taking a break from the game. I've lost so much ranking points last two weeks that I fear for my sanity.
